Terms and Conditions
Last Updated: August 24, 2026
Welcome to Bishop Crafted Woodworks, owned and operated by Zander Bishop (“Bishop Crafted Woodworks,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of zanderbishop.com (the “Website”), including the purchase of handcrafted woodworking products and the submission of requests for custom woodworking projects.
By accessing or using the Website, submitting a custom order request, or purchasing a product through the Website, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms.
If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the Website or purchase products through it.
1. About Bishop Crafted Woodworks
Bishop Crafted Woodworks is a custom woodworking business owned and operated by Zander Bishop.
Products offered through the Website may include handcrafted, one-of-a-kind, made-to-order, and regularly stocked woodworking products.
Because our products are handcrafted, variations in wood grain, color, texture, knots, markings, dimensions, and other natural characteristics may occur. These characteristics are inherent to genuine wood and should not automatically be considered defects.
2. Products and Product Descriptions
We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, dimensions, colors, and other information displayed on the Website are accurate.
However, handcrafted wooden products may vary slightly from photographs or descriptions due to the natural characteristics of wood, lighting, photography, finishing processes, and the individual nature of handmade work.
We reserve the right to correct errors, update product information, and modify product availability or pricing at any time.
3. Purchases
When you purchase an item through the Website, you agree to provide accurate and complete information necessary to process your order.
An order is considered accepted when payment has been received and the order has been confirmed by Bishop Crafted Woodworks.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order when necessary, including in cases involving pricing errors, suspected fraudulent activity, inability to fulfill an order, or other circumstances that make fulfillment impractical.
If we cancel an order after payment has been received, any refund required as a result of the cancellation will be issued to the original payment method unless otherwise agreed.
4. Custom Orders
Bishop Crafted Woodworks accepts requests for custom woodworking projects.
Custom orders may involve unique dimensions, materials, finishes, designs, engraving, personalization, or other specifications requested by the customer.
Before work begins, the customer may be required to approve the project’s specifications, pricing, design, materials, and other applicable details.
Once a custom order has been approved and work has begun, the customer understands that the materials and labor have been committed specifically to that project.
Custom Order Finality
All custom orders are final. No refunds or cancellations will be provided for custom orders once the order has been accepted and work has begun, except where otherwise required by applicable law.
Customers are responsible for reviewing and approving custom-order specifications before production begins.
Bishop Crafted Woodworks is not responsible for customer-provided measurements, specifications, design choices, or other information that results in a product being different from what the customer intended, provided the item was produced according to the approved specifications.
5. Natural Characteristics of Wood
Wood is a natural material. Differences in grain patterns, color, knots, small imperfections, movement, texture, and other characteristics are normal and may differ from photographs or previous projects.
Such characteristics are part of the nature and appearance of handcrafted wood products and are not necessarily considered flaws or defects.
Bishop Crafted Woodworks reserves the right to use reasonable judgment when determining whether an issue constitutes a genuine manufacturing or workmanship flaw.
6. Refund and Exchange Policy
All Sales Are Final
All sales are final.
Bishop Crafted Woodworks does not offer general returns or refunds simply because a customer changes their mind, no longer wants an item, ordered the wrong size, or is otherwise dissatisfied with a purchase that was properly produced and delivered.
This policy applies to both custom orders and regularly stocked (“normal stock”) items, subject to the limited exchange policy described below and any rights that cannot legally be waived.
Custom Orders
No refunds are provided for custom orders. No exceptions will be made except where a refund or other remedy is required by applicable law.
Because custom products are created specifically for an individual customer, Bishop Crafted Woodworks cannot generally accept them back for a refund.
Regularly Stocked Items
Refunds are not permitted for regularly stocked or normal-stock items.
However, if a genuine flaw or workmanship defect arises, the customer must bring the issue to Zander Bishop’s attention within five (5) business days of receiving the item.
If the issue is determined to be a qualifying flaw or workmanship defect, Bishop Crafted Woodworks may provide an exchange for an item of equal or lesser value.
If the replacement item is of lesser value, the difference will not be refunded unless otherwise required by applicable law.
An exchange is not guaranteed for damage caused by misuse, accidents, improper handling, improper installation, alterations, neglect, normal wear and tear, or circumstances unrelated to the workmanship of the product.
Reporting a Problem
Customers requesting an exchange should contact Bishop Crafted Woodworks as soon as possible and provide:
- The customer’s name and order information;
- A description of the issue;
- Photographs or other reasonable documentation of the alleged flaw; and
- Any other information reasonably requested to evaluate the issue.
The five-business-day period begins when the customer receives the item.
Nothing in this policy is intended to waive any rights or remedies that cannot legally be waived under applicable federal, state, or local law.
7. Shipping and Delivery
Shipping and delivery options, costs, and estimated timeframes will be provided when applicable.
Estimated delivery dates are estimates and are not guaranteed unless expressly stated otherwise.
Bishop Crafted Woodworks is not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, weather, natural disasters, incorrect addresses provided by customers, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Customers should inspect packages and products upon delivery and promptly report any apparent shipping damage.
8. Custom Measurements and Customer Information
When placing a custom order, customers are responsible for providing accurate measurements, dimensions, specifications, contact information, delivery information, and other information requested by Bishop Crafted Woodworks.
Customers should carefully review all specifications before approving a custom project.
Bishop Crafted Woodworks will generally rely on the information approved or supplied by the customer when producing a custom item.
9. Payments
All applicable prices will be displayed on the Website or communicated to the customer before a purchase or custom order is finalized.
Customers are responsible for paying all applicable charges, including the purchase price, applicable taxes, shipping costs, and other charges disclosed before purchase.
Payment processing may be handled by third-party payment processors. Bishop Crafted Woodworks does not store complete payment-card information on its own systems unless expressly stated otherwise.
10. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, all content appearing on the Website, including photographs, product images, logos, graphics, text, designs, descriptions, branding, and other materials, belongs to or is used by Bishop Crafted Woodworks and/or Zander Bishop.

11. Custom Designs and Project Images
Bishop Crafted Woodworks may photograph completed projects for purposes including its portfolio, website, social media, advertising, and other promotional materials.
If a custom project contains personally identifying information or other customer-specific information that should not be publicly displayed, customers should notify Bishop Crafted Woodworks before the project is photographed or published.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, Bishop Crafted Woodworks retains the right to photograph and display its own workmanship and completed projects for promotional purposes.
12. User Communications and Submissions
If you submit photographs, designs, descriptions, ideas, reviews, comments, or other materials to Bishop Crafted Woodworks, you represent that you have the right to provide those materials and that doing so does not violate another person’s rights.
You agree not to submit unlawful, threatening, defamatory, fraudulent, or otherwise inappropriate material.

Your use of those services may be subject to the third party’s own terms and policies.

15. Disclaimer
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Website and its content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
We make reasonable efforts to accurately represent our products and services but do not guarantee that the Website will always be free from errors or that product photographs will exactly represent the appearance of an individual handcrafted item.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude warranties, rights, or remedies that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.
16. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Bishop Crafted Woodworks and Zander Bishop will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the Website or purchase of products.
This provision does not limit liability where such limitation is prohibited by law.
17. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Bishop Crafted Woodworks and Zander Bishop from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising from your unlawful use of the Website, violation of these Terms, or violation of another person’s rights.

20. Governing Law
